Thanks, I did try that, but it appears neither inscription comes from a well-known poem. Here is the one I can read most clearly:
Friendly to all yet modest ____ kind,
Her life appeared? the ____ of her mind,
Beloved in life as much bemoaned in death,
On Jesus resting, she resigned? her breath
